This post is dedicated to Next Level Invitational which took place on 9-10-11. This event was Team NoX's official First CrossFit Competition. NoX had officially been born only 3 months Prior which means I had been Training for almost 3 Months Prior. Coach Mike, Chuck, and myself represented NoX Training well that day. This competition was a BIG eye opener as I thought I was in the "best shape of my life" at the time and managed to end up placing 72nd of 75 entrants. I still remember the WODs that we had to do, listed below. At the time I was able to do about only 3-5 double unders at a time and I could only do strict pull-ups as I had never practice the butterfly or the kip. I ended up barely getting over 4 rounds of WOD 1, about 5 Rounds of WOD 2 (with strict pull-ups), and 92 Reps on the Floater. This was a BIG eye opener for me. Now there are about 7 Competitions that I have participated in (excluding the open/online qualifiers).
WOD 1: 10 (or 15??) minute AMRAP: 15 Burpees/30 Double unders
WOD 2: 7 Minute AMRAP: 30 Air Squats/ 10 Pull-ups
FLOATER WOD: 4 Minute AMRAP Deadlifts @ 185#
