We just got back from being in LA since Friday Morning at the LA FitExpo for the LA ProDay. I competed all 3 days and am feeling pretty beat up right now. I decided to keep the training pretty light weight to help me recover. Thank you to everyone who went out and supported coach Mike and I...and also the ones who volunteered from NOX. All of the support really helped out and means a lot.
Hopefully I will be able to make the cut and be able to compete in the next phase of competition to try and make it on a team; the combine in April. I went into this past weekend with little training specifically for GRID but now I know what I need to focus on.
An interview was conducted on myself and coach Mike on Saturday after one of my events. It can be found here:
Anyway, Next up for us is the CrossFit open. The Open begins in just over 2 weeks and it is the starting point in the road to the CrossFit Regionals. The new rule changes and additions will make it tougher than ever to qualify for regionals but we are ready to give it everything we have.
Today everyone went in prepared to train hard the start of the week but lets keep that intensity flowing throughout the entire week and the rest of the year. Below are some pictures from today. As always feel free to use the pictures on social media but just be sure to tag @noxtraining @rxaction and hashtag them both as well. Thanks.
